Luxury demands for Slaves

Depends of slave grade game want you to made his/her live more comfortable.

Game have 2 items that offers luxury, lingerie (silk boxers/lacy underwear) +5 and golden ring +10.

There are 5 slave grades with luxury demands:

Slave - 0

Poor - 5

Commoner - 15

Rich - 25

Noble - 40

Penality for not providing luxury for slaves is:

if not enough luxury and slave owned for more than 7 days outside of jail:

(Slave demands - what she get)/2.5 = penality to loyality

(Slave demands - what she get) = penality to obedience

There are 3 luxury related traits:

Spoiled: 2x luxury demands (can be instantly remove with Elixir of Clarity)

Ascetic: 0.5x luxury demands

Grateful: 0.0x luxury demands (with this trait all

You have this options to give slaves more comfort in mansion:

private room - +10 luxury and +5 luxury for every upgrade in mansion furnishment (2 upgrades)

place in master bedroom - +5 luxury and +5 for every upgrade in mansion furnishment (2 upgrades)

Customization menu:

Better food: cost 5 food daily and gives +5 luxury

Personal bath: 2 supplies daily and gives +5 luxury

Cosmetics: +5 luxury for 1 supply

Pocket money: cost 10 gold daily, +10 luxury

Does the penalty code only tick if you are below the needed amount? Like can you get a bonus obedience and loyalty if you give them more luxury than needed?

This is his description for the penalty conditions:
"if not enough luxury and slave owned for more than 7 days outside of jail:"

This is the line in code (Grateful is actually a condition for penalty, not a multiplier, but same effect):
if !person.traits.has("Grateful") && luxury < personluxury && person.metrics.ownership - person.metrics.jail > 7:

Penalty has a matching message in the end of day report. Zero or negative(effectively bonus) penalty has no message nor effect.

afaik there are no bonuses from being too good for demanding slaves

it's a little frustrating that even with the maximum upgrades, the underwear and the ring you still only give them 35 luxury leaving you with them constantly demanding more from you and having to raise their loyalty and obedience every few days. if your lucky you can get a rare item that has added luxury on it

Simply using the numbers from the first post:

lingerie +5
ring +10
private room +10
private room mansion upgrades +10
Better food +5
Personal bath +5
Cosmetics +5
Pocket money +10

Which sums up to a possible 60 total luxury given to a slave. Certainly enough to handle a demand of 40.

That said, yes, the first 4 items are the only ones that are a one-time only fee. And those max out at 35. So with a noble that does not have a trait to lower luxury demands, a player will need to give them at least 1 of the daily rewards which have a small recurring cost.

I had completely forgotten about the daily rewards items so my apologies for that. seems i need to start giving my slaves some things now
