I'm new and stupid, but how do I download the update files? Theres no link attached to them and itch.io just advertises me to buy the game...

Go click the arrow pointing down that's next to your name on the top right hand corner. Then  click "my library". You'll see the games you bought, and from there you'll see the download button for RE:H   :)

Thank you!

Hey bre, sorry to use your topic to post but since it's about the update, I've got a problem that I have encountered ever since the announce of update 1.1 and would like to ask for help.

When update 1.1 came out, the itch app didn't recognize that update, so I've uninstalled the game in hopes to install the new game version. However, when I tried to download it, I could no longer access the option to install the game.

When I click on "Manage" (I have the demo still installed) I'm only able to access the demo and no other option is shown like it used to previously.

I've tried to close/open the app; uninstall demo but unfortunately, it didn't change anything.
I've checked other games I have (uninstalled and installed them to know if the app was the culprit) and I can access them.

I can, however, download the game using the browser.

Could someone give me a lead to solve this problem? Thanks in advance.

Would restarting the computer or reinstalling the itch.io app work? The way that the updates worked is that v1.0 was on one download track, and all later patches are on another track (where we hid v1.0). Our other games also use the additional track, and we haven't heard of others having a similar problem with their itch app...

I went to check on a different OS and it appears that I can access everything on the OS Windows (demo and the updated game version).

Could it be something related to my OS being Linux?

Anyway, restarting the app and pc. It didn't change.
I'm also backing up stuff to reinstall the app just to be sure.

Glad to hear you've sort of worked it out. It sounds like an itch app issue, which we unfortunately can't help with :(
