Flight Mode Select with AUX Channel

Is there a plan, that we can select the flight modes with an aux switch (Self-Leveling - Acro - 3D Mode)

Would be nice if you fly in Acro and get intro trouble you can flick a switch on the remote to self level mode.

Thank you very much!

Your right you can toggle it with the "L" button. But if you map it to a switch it is cycling trough the modes! It would be better if every mode have a dedicated Key.

Like:

Self Leveling -> "U"

ACRO -> "I"

3D Mode -> "O"

So you can assign every mode!

That's true... maybe the developer will add the feature in the next versions but, really, who cares if you are messing things up in acro mode and suddenly crash into the ground? What good is to switch to Angle mode to save a virtual quad? You'd better learn to fly it safely in acro mode, this way when it comes to the real hardware you will know what to do and your reactions will be faster and more precise. That is the main reason to practice with the simulator. The more you crash the more you learn.

Just my 2 cents.

True!

But i wanted to practice as close to the reality as possible and that means also to flick a switch in case of messing up something!

Yes in that way it was a bit more convenient in an earlier version when there was only acro and self-leveling - then you could quickly toggle between the two. Now you sort of need to double-click to skip past 3d mode. I will add your thought as a suggestion and see if I can think of a good way to solve it.
