How much can we do in the beta? I can't get to the areas to meet up with Sir <3 or to help the old guy.
Also, I have to look away from the screen whenever I'm about to fight something because of the flashing/zooming effect. Would it be possible to add an option to remove that?

Those areas are not in the beta, so that's about the end.
I'll see about the flash and zooming effect on entering combat, that's probably the default in the engine, but someone else also said it bothered them. Would it be any better if the flash could be made black?
I believe itch.io allows pre-purchasing with the use of a dummy file, but I'm conflicted about it because it might take away from future Steam purchases (key reviews on Steam don't count, and it's important to gather enough reviews for the game to be more visible - at least it used to be, the rules keep changing).
