If you take Erotic perk, your Charisma will be considered 2 higher for the purposes of that check - playing as a Warrior without it, the check fails when I try it. Are you seeing the wrong number display when it says success?
ohhhhhh. thanks, that was really frustrating, thought it was an error. it displays the number that my charisma was at, which was below the check, but says passed, it doesn't mention the perk increasing it.
