Hi, Sal. Are you on OSX? I found a bug in the build process that had uploaded an invalid asset pack of backgrounds. I'm re-uploading the latest OSX build with fixes now.

I'm on Android, most recent build (I think). Map and most backgrounds are white. Additionally, all the cards in the first battle appeared as the two of clubs while functioning as, what i imagine, they were programmed to be; making battle confusing and problematic.

Other than that, I'm impressed!

same issue here carried on the game saw the white background and restarted to see if it was a save error and ended up with white background and all 2's but I was very impressed with the first play through :-)

Sorry about that.. Its likely the same issue as the OSX issue before (incorrect addressables). I'm afk right now, but will do a new android build when I'm back on the computer tomorrow.

Played through act one again since latest update.

Couple of things to note:

Fight with the hell hound has images on wrong side of screen (hell hound on left - main guy on right)

Over lay images like gems during explanation larger than screen.

Cards during scying larger than screen

After "study date" with Emily when you wake up in morning if you go to Cafe to and buy coffee to read etc the image of you shown is the naked image from night before and you cannot click yourself to advance the scene either read book or look around. This causes the game to stay as you cannot finish off the coffee to move away from cafe.

But I am really enjoying the story so far cannot wait for act 2

Thanks for the bug-report; will check it out.

The over-large image issue is something caused by me fixing another bug (where they were too small on high-resolution). I'll need to work out what went wrong.

Only real problem I'm seeing is the game isn't finished yet! ;) I LOVE the story line and this game! Oh, one bug I've found is: when doing your homework the second time in your room, if you save during the conversation and try to load later, the characters stay naked and on screen wherever you go after that. You have to load a previous save to fix it.

Hello, I have found a bug significant enough that I feel like I must be doing something wrong rather than the game...

Specifically, after loosing at boxing to Brass, she says that she won't box again unless I bring her a bottle of whisky. I buy the bottle from my guardian at the Crowley (sorry, I changed all their names and can't remember what they should be lol), which it lets me do multiple times. I then go back to the boxing ring and the game doesn't acknowledge that I have the bottle, and won't let me box.

Any ideas?

If you're on PC, the savegame folder is:

Hey love this game but I can’t seem to play this latest version for my Mac I saw your post on giving permission but I’m left scratching my head wondering how to do that sorry for the inconvenience I’m still new to Mac from switching over to pc

That's how you change permission. I'm unfortunately not on OSX, so I can't change it myself.

Having the same problem Sal had. White backgrounds, cards are only 2 of clubs. I'm on PC. Had me hella confused in the card tutorial, thought I was doing something wrong, later realized that I just couldn't see what the cards actually were.

That's 0.3.2, so it's done with Act III's main story, I'm working on the optional side-quests now, hope to be done in ~ a week or two.

Works like a charm. Even with the bugs from before, I still played through that whole version and I must say that apart from a few occasional grammar mistakes and the weird 45 degree head tilt by [Emily] at the start, this game is fairly well made. Keep up the great work, I look forward to playing the next versions. Cheers mate.

Hey so I downloaded the latest version for Android and the game won't start, it gets to the loading screen and then just closes the app.

One thing that might be affecting it is the android OS version. I lowered it here to 5.1 (Lollipop). See if that helps for you:

It doesn't seem to matter how often I go into the Paths or try to talk to her, but Chloe never offers to buy my special ingredients from me. Is there a specific trigger for that conversation? I've gotten it before in another playthrough.

I dont know if this is working as intended, but for some reason you can buy the swimsuit for Emily before the beach party, where she tells you she cant swim which is mentioned in the purchasing dialogue.

It's a timing bug; it shouldn't open until after the beach party scene. Fixed in the latest beta.
