i tried downloading both options of this game and extracted the files from both and tried running the application, and it gave me a folder with a name beginning with "manifest". please help me sort this ut because this game looks like my type.

did you get any error logs about an unreal process. If so I suggest you get the logs and give it to the developer.

If not. Tell the dev what you where doing during the time it happened.

Like what Eprosync mentioned, i'll need more info.

From what you described, it seems like all you got was a manifest file in the folder, which means that everything else in the zip file is not present.. The only explanation I can think of at the moment, is your antivirus might have deleted the files/folders. So you'll need to add it to the list of exceptions if you can.
