Doesn't Work?

Either the game doesn't work, or I'm stupid. I can press enter once to start adventure, press again to select, use the arrow keys to select a color, press enter, but then cannot type a name or continue. Also, my mouse does nothing? This could be because windows doesn't want me to run this, but I'm not sure. Any (helpful) response would be appreciated, thanks!

Edit: The only button I can press on the first screen is to start an adventure.

The experimental version seems to work better, but I still can't play or see the controls. What are the three symbols in the bottom, one of which has a check mark?

On the non-experimental version you will need to exclusively use the mouse to navigate the menu system. The new version is designed to use mouse or controller. When navigating the menu in the experimental version is the nagivation red for the most part? I've ran into some issues if you try to do most of the navigation with players 2 (blue) ,3 (green), and 4(yellow). ( One of the things I was going to fix before this release but I wanted people to be able to play because of the cronavirus. )

Oh I forgot to mention that the experimental build doesn't have any built in levels or campaigns... So you have to build a campaign and level to try it out.

Also thanks for your input. I'll work on fixing some of this tonight if I get a chance.

I hope that you have fun working on this during the CoronaVirus emergency. I can't get the mouse to work in the menu on the stable/older version, but on the experimental version it does.  When I try to play a level in the experimental version,  the red player box just turns red.  After that I cannot use any buttons and must kill the program. Thank you for your help.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm not sure what you mean by red player box... But I have an idea to test that may help me understand what's wrong.

The new version is coming along well. I've simplified the menu system in the next version making it faster to get to gameplay and level editing. I'm currently changing the player select screen to work differently so players can join / exit an active adventure at anytime during gameplay.

The pause menu in game also allows you to exit the adventure.

After that I want to add at least one default campaign that will come with the game in the experimental version. ( That way players don't have to build a campaign in order to play with it )

Hope to have a new version released soon! :)
