Why does my laptop get so hot using this application. I use blender and unity but it never got this hot.
Could you let me know which version of Asset Forge you're using? Could you also give the specs of your laptop to make sure that's not the issue?
My laptop is affected by this too. Both when running 1.3 and 2b. Specs are i7-8750, 16 gb ram, GTX1060 max q. Even when undervolting it, it still gets temperatures on par with using Cycles in Blender viewport with a complex scene
In that case I'd recommend going to Edit > Preferences, click the "eye" visuals tab and making sure Vsync is turned on.

I am using the Asset Forge 2 B update. The specs of my laptop are i5 8300h and 1050 ti. The vsync helped the temperature to decrease. Thanks.
