Hello a new player here,

I have a hard time starting - whether i play carefully or not, i do not live to level 2. Is there a guide how to start? at least list of tips what to do or avoid to survive long enough to have choices apart from running away? 

Can someone also explain the damage dealt - if i have no weapon equipped it shows higher damage, but yet almost no damage is done with the fists.

The damage formula should be somewhat explained when you hover your cursor over the damage values, there should be split of the damage and explanation where does it come from, for example some items scale from int (non-physical damage), dex (daggers, bows) or strength (non-dagger physical melee).
