WOW! Some very good house rules for Pacts and Blades are arriving in the inbox! A mechanical core, which: on a successful roll of the attack attack (Pacts or Blades) or higher roll , is used for damage. But, a friend in Facebook sent this incredible suggestion! Check this out:

Task Resolution: Roll 2d6 vs # for Total Success, and #-2 for Partial Success. Total Success = use higher damage die for damage, and get a Feat special ability. Partial Success = use the lower damage die, and no Feat. Failure by 1 or 2 can be turned into a Partial Success by accepting a Consequence (determined by the Judge), but still deals the lower die in damage.

Fell free to feed this topic with your own!! Thank you guys!!

So, I made myself some fun little "combat cards" to keep track of my foes' HP. I laminated them so I can re-use them in the future. Still work in progress but I think they came out ok :-). So far, having fun :-)

WOW!!!!! That's awesome? Can I post it on Twitter and Reddit? Did you play the game yet? Thank you so much for sharing!!!

Sure, go ahead :-). I only soloed a few scenes using a few random scene generators and gave the combat a spin - it's more fun than I thought. My starting character ventured into a dark forest, got lost... you know how it goes :-D. Came upon a ruined hovel, the desperate parents asked for help - an evil hag had kidnapped their small child. He decided (tentatively) to help and what do you know? Finds the kid dead. That makes him furious and he swears an oath to kill the witch. To make a long story short - he (a starting character) managed to single-handedly defeat a Tier 3 Hag that turned into a giant spider (with a few lucky rolls, pheeew), so it felt pretty good :-)!
