Hi!

Just released my game, would love some feedback on both story mode and survival mode, plays in the browser!

https://phailak.itch.io/block-aid

Why do you need a login and password?

The music button and inverted.
If I click on login, I get this message.
Announcement of the page https://v6p9d9t4.ssl.hwcdn.net
username cannot be nothing!
If I click on exit, the survival mode.
There are two gray bars but I can start the game.
And there, I end up with a bugged interface.
The home page + the games in the background.

It's just to update leaderboards, no registering or anything of the sort

Sounds like it's not registering your clicks properly, would you mind sharing what browser you used, this is the first such report I see? I tested mostly with Chrome to be honest.

You can put anything in the text fields there - then You'll be moved to main menu screen anyway.

As for me - quite cool idea! Enemy sending their troops and you need to place your own units to prevent entering the bottom area. And the rock-paper-scissors mechanics - nice! :)

Few things I'd consider:
- consider adding a few words (or maybe a tutorial level, as separate main menu option?) on the controls. When you launch the game for the first time, it's not intuitive what to do. I started clicking on the icons at the bottom, pushing arrows and WASD, but only after I accidentally clicked the warrior it turned out that I can move him :)

- a simple popup at the very beginning of gameplay, that tells who-wins-with-who would be great

- It's probably just me, but I'd like to have some hints on the icons below (the catapult, fence etc) - I dont know when or how to use them, which ended up me clicking it every now and then during gameplay, which resulted in sometimes launching the catapult, but sometimes not :P

And one more thing - gameplay is already engaging :D
I thought to myself "OK, I'll give it a try, and that's it" - but it makes me come back ;)

I guess when you come up with gameplay, you assume everyone will know what to do, I like the idea of a tutorial and as you said at least put osme minimal info.

There is a hint box that appears at the bottom any time you mouse over something but I guess either the info isn't enough or it's not obvious you can do so. I need to spend some time figuring that out.

Really appreciate it!
