I searched this forum but I can't find a solution to my issue; I'm trying to install the itch.io client and this error message keeps popping up no matter how many times i delete and re-download the client setup. I use windows 10:

Something went wrong

I bought the Racial Justice bundle and also cannot get itch.io app or any of the games to install on my Mac. I keep getting an error saying "HTTP file not found on server."

I'm having issues trying to install on a Surface Go with Windows 10 Pro, same starting error with different text below. I'm guessing they're just getting absolutely slammed with all this traffic and will probably right itself afterwards.

Same here

I had the same problem, I was able to install the app after a restart.

This appears to be the solution, worked under linux atleast

Drat. Did not work for me. Possibly an intermittent error in the file server? I gather that it may be getting quite a bit of use right now!

(Linux Mint 64, etc., but since this looks like a cross platform problem, I don't think OS details matter right now.)

Alright, two tries later and it worked with no additional reboot.

i think this might have been the solution, either that or it's the huge amount of traffic they've received. it's working now.
