Slight confusion that may just boil down to common sense

So I am slightly confused on the creation of ghosts, specifically with the nonsense name and the title. Would the title just be the name that the ghost is called? And would that title actually be a part of their bloodline? Or are names just not mentioned in a ghost's bloodline and the title is their actual name?

Title is a special name you give to your ghost. It doesn't have to be the name of the human it was in the bloodline. E.G. I played the game yesterday and created a ghost of a young man who drowned in his home. I gave it the name of "Cold One". I see the title as a "cool line", such as the Headless Horseman, The Mistress, something like that. As a player, that's what I got from the idea of title.
