Hi, I just beat the game on Classic! Loved every moment, and for the price, it has a surprisingly large amount of content :) I loved going through so many different character storylines.
About to start New Game+, but many of the achievements are ???. I'm not patient enough to spend forever trying to find them all, so I was wondering if there is a guide somewhere on how to unlock all achievements? Thanks again for the really fun game :)
I'm currently working on an update for the Steam release, which will add the option to reveal hidden achievements in the New Game+, among other things (another player suggested this idea, which I thought was great) . This should be available in late July.
However, if you don't want to wait that long, I can post the hidden achievement names and descriptions here, if you don't mind editing the post title to include the word "Spoiler" (or I can do it), just to warn other players. Just let me know!
The names and descriptions of some of the hidden achievements will reveal elements of the storyline, and some of them are based on the player's decisions during the game, so continue reading only if you don't mind spoilers! Good luck! :)

| Ghost Buster | Chase off the ghost. |
| Pet Lover | You told Wodehouse you loved pets. |
| Not a Pet Lover | Because you said you didn't like pets, you received a very valuable item during the surprise party. |
| Matchmaker | Lance and Gwen met and fell in love because of you! |
| Magnificent Manor | Buy all upgrades for the manor from the general store and the tailor (new game+). |
| National Treasures | Give the gold sword and gold plate found in the ruins to the national museum. |
| Private Collection | Keep the gold sword and gold plate found in the ruins for display in the manor. |
| Pranked the Prankster | Play a prank on the prankster. |
| Outsmarted | Someone outsmarted you to find the buried treasure first. |
| Buried Treasure | Obtain the painting of the couple. |
| A Good Deal? | Sell paintings to Rudolph. |
| Mystery Solved | Solve the mystery of why Aunt Agatha had to borrow money, and discover Rudolph's deceit. |
| Goodbye, Rudolph! | Expose Rudolph's villainy and run him out of the village. |
| Art Connoisseur | Talk to the art expert and keep the six paintings owned by Aunt Agatha. |
| Co-owner | Pay off part of the loan and reach a profit-sharing agreement with the bank. |
I would suggest crowd-sourcing the book locations. Would you want to create a new thread with "Spoilers" in the title and you and other players can list the locations in which the books have been found? I feel like this would be more satisfying and fun for players because they discovered the locations themselves and worked together towards doing so.
(The book locations is a little different from the hidden achievement guide, because I was planning to give the option to reveal the hidden achievements anyway in the next update of the game.)
