https://lorellaro.itch.io/fugiunt A small prototype I made that I would greatly appreciate any kind of feedback to. I'm mainly wondering if the idea is any fun. It is playable in browser. Thanks!

Hi Lorellaro,

I tried your game, here’s some feedback:

  • I’m not sure I got the idea correctly. The main menu says to push enemies to other objects to damage them. I tried to push the enemies to both walls and other enemies, but not sure if their health decreased at all. Needless to say I kept losing.

  • Would recommend to begin the game in a place where enemies can’t hit you, so users can get used to the movement and what keys to use.

  • I’d strongly advice against using <shift> as a main input key.

  • It’s hard to tell if the idea is fun yet. It’s an early concept, that displays some game mechanisms. It would definitely need some extra functionality, or interaction with the environment/enemies, to make it way more fun.

Hope this helps :)

Thank you very much for the response! Yes you did get the idea correctly the idea is that the player should dash into the enemies. Due to the bad balancing/poor communication of the game and its idea it probably didn't seem like you were able to do much. I'll look into the stuff that you've mentioned and see what I can do. Thanks again you've been a big help.

(Edit: it occurred to me that on the game's page I chose my words poorly and it made it sound like you simply walk the enemies into the wall instead of dashing into them. I was just checking if you were aware that was the idea. Thanks.)
