i have a pretty big issue, actually, a few. since novetus is not very spread and is quite unkown, many cannot figure out how to host a server or use the program well, and joining a server? whats there to join? nobody has ever actually posted an ip for a server everyone can join, and also, if you had a discord server this would be easier because i could talk to people. yall are making this hard for me, i just wanted to play some old roblox with my friends but i cant... and i doubt i will get a reply to this either

also how do i host a server ;_;

1. First things first, there is indeed a discord server, you can join it at https://discord.gg/5ZhZbV5 to get some servers if you'd like, but you'll need a roblox account.
2. If you can't join a game somebody else posted, either they didnt upnp/port forward, they gave you their private ip instead of their public ip, or its because they're in a hamatchi (or any other simular VPN) server and you're not, OR they gave you their public ip instead of the hamatchi IP. This happens a ton.
3. There is one, read above.
4. Congrats, you got a reply.
5. There is seperate methods for hosting. These are well known ones:

-UPNP

This only requires a check in your router settings and on novetus. If you don't know how to do this, google how to enter your router settings for your router on google. Keep in mind your router is the company on the physical router, NOT the company you pay to keep your internet up. You will also need to know the credinals. If you don't own them, either try checking the bottom/side of the router, or try admin as the username, and either admin or password as the password. If it doesn't work, try inputing the info on your router. If you have a Novetus+ or simular client that doesn't have a launcher, or the abandoned NovetusLabs launchers, this won't work.

-PORT FORWARDING

This is the most common. You have to port forward both inbound and outbound to 53640 or the port you're hosting on. This also requires access to your router settings. Once again, google it if you don't know.

-VPN/Hamatchi

This is a last resort. You will need to download hamatchi, radmin VPN, or a simular VPN. This will not work for VPNs designed to hide your activity, only for Port Tunneler VPNs designed to fake LAN.

You will need to give out your hamatchi IP instead of your own ip. now make a network and give your friends the name and password details.

-LAN

This only works if you and your friends are connected to the same network, or are in the same house.

You have to give out your private IPv4 IP. If you don't know this, open CMD and type ipconfig. It usually starts with 192, and isnt 192.168.0.1 in most situations.

A few more great tips:

-If you can't find out the site to connect to for your router settings, open cmd and type ip config. type the IP under default gateway into your browser and see if it works. (For Arris users, this is usually 192.168.0.1, but may vary from router to router.)

-NONE of these will work on public connections like McDonalds or something, so do this at home where you can frick with the router.

-If you port forward, uncheck enable upnp in novetus.

the invite is invalid....

Might be a different server, my bad.

Bitl just posted the correct one in another thread not long ago, this one instead: https://discord.gg/snFVuQb
