I can't figure out how to use it..and didn't see anything in the documentation, so gonna ask.

numerous blocks in the left drawer, have a pink tab on the bottom left of the thumbnail.  what does it mean?..and how do I use it?

Those are blocks which are exclusive to the deluxe version of Asset Forge, so if you're using the deluxe version these blocks will show up.
