"Symbol" error when switching form one class to another using Yanfly Class Change Core

Hi Felski,

I seem to be having a problem that is a bit of a pain. I'm using Yanfly's Class Change Core as a base to "progress" your class as your level your character. Switching from say the Magician Class to the Warrior Class and checking the Skill tree causes a "symbol undefined" error crash. I've checked the debug log and it says its a problem with Skill Trees in the Window_Techtree_Select andScene_Techtree. Any ways around this that you know of? I've tried changing some of the options around but I wanted players to keep their "previous" Class Tech Trees and build on those, such as Warrior having "WARRIOR1" then a Paladin having "WARRIOR2" and so on.

Here is the error for reference.

Hi Eusmusia,

yes, that error seems like a bit of pain^^. Lets see.

  • Does the error happen on a new savegame?
  • Did you recently add one of the skill trees?
  • Do you have the Update Skill Trees option active?
  • What version of the plugin do you use?

Best regards,
Felski

Hi Felski,

  1. Yes. The error always occurs when I go from my starting Class, to another class then to a third class. It always errors out on the third class on a new save.
  2.  I have all 8 of my Basic tier classes (after the base starting class) done, but not populated with nodes.
  3. Yes, its set to "true"
  4. And the version that is currently on your itch.io, which I downloaded a few days ago. (version 1.3.6)
  5. Yanfly's Class Change Core is above your Tech Tree plugin as well if that makes a difference.

Hey Eusmusia,

I think I replicated the bug and fixed it. I updated the plugin. Could you check it out?

Best regards,
Felski

Ah! Much better! Thank you very much, Felski!
