It depends on the game. If you see that only on one game, the most likely scenario is that the developer of that game has configured it wrong. In that case it would be best to contact the developer directly, as they might not be aware of it.
So, what browser is it? On what operating system? And what GPU? Are your 3D drivers up to date? A lot of modern "browser" games are made in Unity and built for WebGL, and that has... limited compatibility.
