Hello

I'm having quite a lot of trouble selecting various blocks after they've been placed for the first time.

In the image below, I've ticked the blocks that select easily and marked the other two that won't select clicking anywhere on them in this view.  I've found I can sometimes select them if I rotate the view so I go underneath but this is a bit of a pain, I'm sure it's not supposed to be like that?

Issue

Those blocks are under the grid, you can change the height of the grid using the buttons on the top or Page up/down on your keyboard.

Ah, that's just where they snapped into place when I dragged them over.

So, basically, you can't click through the grid?  i.e. if I go below the grid I can select the bits that are below and when I'm above the grid I can select the bits poking above?

Is that a design choice for a particular purpose?  I can't immediately think of what that would be used for.

Also - wow, thanks for the quick response! :-)

Yep that's on purpose, it's so you can move the grid while i.e creating a building and making sure you don't accidentally select the bottom floors and can just interact with the floor you're on.

Ah, makes perfect sense! Thanks.
