I have been a console gamer so not quite knowledgeable about these gpu specs affecting the results I want. Using my old 1070ti makes me wait for 10~20 hours per 5 minute's clip given 8x config. The coming rtx3080 isn't ridiculously expensive so I wonder how much faster I can get, before ordering it

Why?

Raw gaming performance is about double and number of cuda cores is trippelt.

Oh also the fact you have faster and higher memory capacity, which is a huge difference. You don't have to downscale or split images which is a huge time saver.
