I've just finished developing my game "Krak'n Waka" and would really appreciate any feedback on it, took around 7 weeks. Since it's my first game, any feedback could go a long way to improve my future games.

I think the game is pretty nice considering it as your first game. The concept is great and I had fun playing it.
One thing that most first-time developers unnoticed is the difficulty (including me). I found it a little bit hard to shoot the fish, perhaps enlarging the targets or slowing it down a little bit will help. If you tested the difficulty and thought it's fine, you will probably have to lower it a little bit because you should be a pro at your game, and players like me are complete noobs haha.
Another thing is the feedback to the player on their gameplay. It will be good to have some cool yet not disturbing visual or audial effects when the player increases health to tell them they are doing a great job, and other effects to tell them to be more careful (like turning the screen red for a while). But that doesn't hugely affect the gameplay.

hehe great read-me file, was funny but informative :P but why poop on me for using a mac? :P and i totally agree the music really works in the game! The game starts up a little bit laggy then it runs just fine. My suggestion is to have a short loading screen instead of starting in a 3d scene so it starts a bit smoother.
And I love the loading screen really gives an extra mood to the game!
Something a bit unrelated by the way but on the game page there is a video but the thumbnail of the video shows a different game or don’t know what it is but seems confusing. Like there should be a pixelated living-room in the game. But i did not see this.
Love the idea of the game being out on see alone, and it looks great! The shooting is really hard and a bit to unforgiven. Think it would help to have a bit of aim assist or type of bullet thats visible and easer to plan out. Now its more like a guess if i will hit or not. And it was so hard to hit! At leased for me :P And still the kraken looks so nice and cute. Love it! Really like the art style :)
I did encounter an error, when pausing the game the game did not pause at all (pressing escape).
And did you programmer the water with rendered vectors? I would love to try something like that, but sounds so complicated to make my own meshes in game and make them move.

Thanks for all the feedback on the game, don't worry about the mac thing, one of my colleagues has a mac from 2008, so it was a bit of an inside joke. Glad to hear the export works on mac though, since I didn't actually test it. Will check out your game when I have time, looks pretty impressive already.
Definitely agree that I should have added an aim assist mode to the shooting, I found that quite a few people struggled to hit the enemies. Also, the water was made using a simple shader that displaced the vectors, not that difficult but it requires learning an entire programming language (Which was a bit of a pain).
Next up I'm planning to work on a more open-world type game, though creating the backend for one isn't the easiest thing in the world.
