One of the most common requests we get is adding more methods to pay when buying games. Starting today you can now pay with Bitcoin to any seller that is using itch.io’s payout system. You don’t need to change anything about your account for it to work, and you’ll still receieve payouts in USD!
Bitcoin payments are implemented through Stripe’s Bitcoin support.
To buy something, all you need to purchase is an e-mail address and some bitcoins:

This feature has been requested for a while (it’s the fifth issue on Github!) and we’re really happy to take a first step in the cryptocurrency world.

Itch.io, I really hope someone from staff see my comment but I legitly request for this Bitcoin feature to be back cause however some developers are really having trouble with receiving payment or buying cause of their country economic situation, and I am pretty sure those who have no debit card nor PayPal available at their country will get their point cause am having same situation, and I add; including this feature back will open door to alot of developers to be in this platform and it will really help them regarding their situation, and I really appreciate any consideration to be made regarding this
We have no plans to add Bitcoin back as a payment method.

Coinbase banned Iran! So countries which are under USA sanctions, cannot trust or register to that!
Wow I am very happy about it but can the publisher decide to receive bitcoins rather the dollars ?
