I hope you get more recognition because it is awesome! I love how simple the main loop is and how the game gets progressively harder and you can get the last upgrade and go crazy for a high score. This was wonderful. Unique artstyle very simple but effectively used. The entry is absolutely great, you did such a good work in such short time! I would've appreciated a little bit of variation on the licking sound but I adore how the music is an indicator for how much time you have left. Congratulations!!
Oh and something I forgot to suggest earlier: Movement with WASD would've been more appropriate since the game also requires mouse! No big deal but it was my initial instinct to try and move with WASD rather than arrows because my right hand was already using the mouse :)
