Fun game! I like the art style. The controls are responsive. The central conceit of freezing and carrying the pumpkins is fairly original. The tutorial being inscribed on tombstones is thematic and clever.
I would have appreciated a couple more sound effects, particularly when a bat or pumpkin is struck by the beam from the want. Also, the font used is very difficult to read.

The concept of freezing the pumpkins to catch them is certainly unique, and I like how you limited it to one pumpkin at a time. Otherwise, I would've been blasting whole groups and then coming back for each one! I felt the controls were pretty simple and worked well. There was only one minor graphics glitch where the character reverses direction a bunch while standing still - not quite sure how it happens, but I noticed it at the start before moving around. Otherwise, good job!

It would be awesome to have more feedback sounds like geting hit by enemies and killing enemies.
And we have to use fullscreen mode to play the game !

The loop is fun! Movement is too fast for such a small screen and some movemements feel too sudden, like the knockback on bats, they even get knocked outside the screen. There's pumpkins being damaged outside the player's view without warnings.
Most of the problems with the game are because of the screen size. The art is good, there's an effort to build a world surrounding the game, and the loop is enjoyable. Overall a pretty good entry :D
Viewport on itch doesn't match game resolution and using fullscreen gets you a black background without actually making the screen bigger. I think you just have to set the viewport on the edit page to a bigger size so the game fits inside :)
