Ah! I see! It's clicking, a lot of it! Have you considered adding interactions between certain tiles? That could make an interesting change of pace between clicks
That thought did came to me, but I didn't implement it in the end.
Like cells could multiply if they consume something, or there is one killer microorganism that could eat anything it touches.
