The concept of the game is very cool, I completed the 2 first stages.

I think the wall jumping and dashing mechanics were a bit rigid. Some improvements in this features would make the gameplay more dynamic.

Nice ^^
Also, because of the... "challenging" gameplay, that's quite impressive!
Thank you for your insides!

I like the graphics, but I have to admit, I couldn't quite get the hang of the controls.

Developer

Thank you for playing!

Yeah, the controls are... there. We tried out something new but it takes way  to long to get into it to still be casual. That would be something we would have to revise in another draft ^^''

The mechanics and controls are quite unique! I admittedly struggled a bit with mastering it but I do think it adds to the learning curve of the game. Good job!

Developer

Thank you :)

I liked the art and was very much looking forward to see how this would go as it reminded me a lot of Super Meat Boy, but the controls are just a bit too frustrating to get used to :/

Fun idea, just needs a bit of work on the controls!

Thank you for your feedback! Yeah, we had our problems with the over-the-place-ness of the controls as well ^^''
We will need to work on that, definitely.

Nice opportunity for testing platforming ideas using a prefab project as a base.

As magn said, it would be better for the player to get used to the basic movement mechanics gradually. It took me a couple of tries to go through the first platforms and get a grasp of the movement. But I managed to complete the first level. I got a chuckle at the end with the time counter stating "Time: Some time for sure".

cheers!

Heyho! Then, at least the humor of the missing time counter wasn't lost ^^
Congrats for making it through the mess of the first level!

Cute animations! The controls are hard to grasp and I did not get anywhere. Probably you should make the beginning of the game easier. Polishing the controls is also highly recommended, especially the wall jumping.

Thank you for your feedback! :)

Controls are indeed just smashing buttons and hoping to get somewhere.
