The idea is quite simple, but I think it works well! I feel though that the blocks move very fast right from the get go, so maybe the progression could be adjusted to be easier at the start especially for those who might not be familiar with the mechanics. But overall, this is a solid game!
Thanks for the feedback! I understand that the speed is very fast, so I'm currently working on progressing the speed as the player progresses haha, thanks!
It's a bit challenging.
Yeah haha, was going for that, but with practice, some of my friends managed to get over 100 in score haha, one of my friends ended up getting 589 lol.
*Update: The game now supports touchscreen devices too!*
Controls:
For PC/laptop - Press space/left click to split/merge the player!
Touchscreen Devices - Tap the screen to split/merge the player!
I suck at this game but it's very fun! I love the ominous hum of the "void", the art is simple but it captures the minimal aesthetic a lot of 1-bit games have very well. The animations are well done and text is easy to read. Good choice of fonts too. Would recommend to anyone interested :)
Thank you so much for your feedback! Don't worry, I suck too haha.
It took me a little time to figure out how to control the game, so I think it would be helpful to include some instructions in the description for slow learners like me :)
Also the mechanics are simple but still entertaining to play!
Thanks for your comment! Yeah I understand it can be quite confusing haha, I'll add instructions in the description now, thanks for the feedback!
Checks all the boxes. It's a good example of how minimalism is still capable of entertain us.
It's a good minigame that could be expanded or added with similar concepts on a broader project.
Remember to state the credits for each category (even for yourself) in the description! So people can know who contributed to your project.
Thank you so much for the comment! I'll add the credits into the description now, I'm also looking to expand the project whether if the player is able to control the split player in a different way or something. Thanks again!
