Love this, I had some issues with it not running with Chrome but switched to Edge and it worked fine. I found the music to be repetitive but everything else was so good, love the humor, art, animations I was legit wowed when I realized there were powerups to play with. I'm honestly upset there isn't more levels, good work.

As a developer I felt the hard work while I'm playing , really good game, the music is cool and the story is solid and fun to be read, the art is simple and pretty, I like games about devils , I'll be glad if you got to play and rate mine too...

Art and animation are particularly great!! The story kept me motivated throughout the gameplay. Really, the characters have personality and the world building is good.

The gameplay and systems are polished. The indicator when the character goes offscreen is an impressive touch for a game jam game!

The two things that I personally would change are the moving platforms and level restart. The moving platforms worked totally fine, but visually with a completely white background, and player movement as well, it lacked visual information--especially when static platforms were not on the screen at the same time. As for level restart, it happened so quickly that I'd lose a heart almost instantly about 75% of the time I restarted by walking off the platform, or having it break, etc.

Overall, great game! I enjoyed my playthrough a bunch :)

Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm so happy you enjoyed your playthrough.
I absolutely agree with you on both the issues you spotted, we ran into them when playtesting, but ultimately had to pick and choose where our attention was needed most. Maybe one day we'll polish up some of the rough corners, I'm so glad the overall feel you got from the game was one of polish!

In any case, thank you so much for taking the time to leave this lovely comment!
