I love the fact that the projectiles are random junk objects instead of bullets. Nice spin on the classic Asteroids style gameplay

Developer

Glad you enjoyed the concept! We definitely had fun coming up with it all.

Got to le Momboat™ yay!

Nice art and music, the sounds were crunchy too! And I liked the fact that the ship gets smaller the lesser you have junk.

Developer

Way to go! Glad you enjoyed it.

Those pesky Space Wreckoons!

Really nice art and game concept.

Enjoyed the balance created by linking your ammo to your hit points.  Very cool game.

Developer

Pesky Wreckoons, indeed, haha. Thanks for the comment and for trying the game out!

I had fun, the graphics and the music are cute, the theme is well executed, overall a very solid entry well done

I only had 2 problems and they are very small

-I would like a way to be able to retry the game without reloading the page

-The end felt a bit underwhelming

Developer

Hey, thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.

And great feedback! We have plans to address those and release an update after the Jam is over, so feel give the project a follow if you're interested.

Very fun to play! I really like how the ship shrinks as you loose junk and how you have to balance dodging with shooting to preserve you junk as much as possible.

PROBLEMS:

- Spaceship got stuck on walls some times

- There is no timer telling me how long I have left to get to the MOMSHIP (I'm pretty sure I got past 2 minutes)

- Not much else, good experience, just a few polishing factors needed for a better game.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

I've been experiencing the same sticking problem, but only with the web version for some reason. We're working on a patch.

The timer is in the bottom-left corner of the screen. We had a nice UI element we wanted to use but didn't have enough time to actually implement it before the deadline unfortunately...

Glad you enjoyed it!

I did not notice that the timer was there...lol. More prominent UI would be another piece of feedback I guess.

Ha! Beat it!

Developer

I definitely agree.

Woohoo! Nice!

The web-only sticking issue should now be fixed. Thanks for letting us know!

No browser version I can play?

Developer

There was an unexpected, game-breaking bug with the visuals when we exported for web and we're still working on a fix. Thanks for the interest, though! We'll be sure to let you know when the web port is working.

I think you forgot to put the web build on your itch.io? I have the option to download it, but that doesn't really make sense, because you already provided Windows downloadable. Make sure you have checked the "HTML build" option.

My apologies; there was a game-breaking bug causing the game to display incorrectly within the embedded window. We haven't figured out how to solve it yet, unfortunately, so I decided to make it download-only.
