I tried playing the game, the art seem amazing. I actually found out that it was almost unplayable, I didn't feel that I was xontroling the character, with really long animation, I climbed in the first lader on the left and when I jumped of, it broke under me and I just get stuck in a fall animation and I can't walk no more. The light should be pixelated like the rest with only 2 colors. Really felt like a good game but didn't have any good gameplay. If you fix this, it will definitely become a really good game

Thanks for taking the time to play and to write a comment! I agree with all you've said. Out of respect for the team's work, this unfinished version was released to meet the game jam deadline. However, I am developing a new version using the same artwork  and the original vision for the game, which includes a number of added hazards and mechanics, as well as very specific threat to your survival, which stalks you underground. Added audio clues as well as an independently controllable headlamp are necessary to navigate the passageways. There is a clear beginning middle, and end to the version under development, and it will be released after proper completion and play testing. Please come back and try then!

Could not finish the game because the character gets stuck. Other then that the movement is painfully slow and unresponsive. I understand you wanted to add the little animations to give immersino and weight, which by the way are incredibly well made, don't get me wrong,  but made me feel  not in control of the character, like when turning around. Hope your game could have a brither future after the bug fixes!

I really appreciate you taking the time to play and write, and I do agree with pretty much everything you've written. Please look out for a remake in the future!

Amazing little game, the minimalistic graphics are a nice way to get those super detailed animations, I really dig how the game looks and feels, slow turning and climbing, heavy jumping, everything convey a sense of weight. Great job

Developer

Thank, Elie-- will attempt to get this game working in the future.

The art and lighting were really good. I found the gameplay to be a bit slow, and I encountered some bugs when jumping from one platform to another, and even while just walking with the character. Once the bugs are fixed, it should become a great game.

Developer

Thanks for attempting-- yes, it needs alot of work to get it playing properly.

It looks promising and visually appealing. Too bad it has bug issues. After a while the whole game freezes.

Developer

Yes, we were disappointed in our inability to bring our vision to life on this one. But I am hoping to work on it further so that it is playable. Thanks for having a look!

I think this concept is pretty original from what I've seen so far, there's many bugs in the game but other than that, I liked its charm!

Thanks for taking the time to play and respond!

Couldn't run the game. Got this error message:

Unable to parse Build/V 1.2 Web Final.framework.js.gz! This can happen if build compression was enabled but web server hosting the content was misconfigured to not serve the file with HTTP Response Header "Content-Encoding: gzip" present. Check browser Console and Devtools Network tab to debug.

Thank you for play testing and messaging this! We've attempted to fix this with compression settings for the WebGL build.
