I used thin lightrays that create the dithering effect

not bad), continue create new mechanics in feauture for most interested for this story!
Nice little game, with more levels, kinds of enemies and obstacles, it can become a great game!
Really like the concept, and the art is really nice too. Wish it was a little longer, but really nice job!
Thanks! I would’ve liked more levels, but I didn’t put a lot of time to the game jam and didn’t get to a point were I felt like more content was the biggest priority.
Cool little game, I like the visuals
Thanks!
pretty neat concept, feel like you can put relic closer, as you will get killed quite abit before you unlock shooting. but with decent music and jumpscare who know this can be an good horror game.
Yeah, I should have maybe done some playtesting with the mindset of a new player. Thanks for the feedback!
This is really well done, the music really fits the atmosphere of the game. It being made in pygame alone is really cool. I do wish it was longer but It could definitely be worked on to have a few more areas.
Thanks!
Pygame is what I'm comfortable with and I enjoy the coding side of things. Music is also something I'm learning about, so I'm glad you felt it fit with the game! More levels is probably something I should have planned out for, but it takes a bit longer with pygame.
This game is good. Need to be polished, like I can go out of bounds, after some time I can't move anymore. In resume, a simple and good experience :)
Hey thanks, I'm aware of the lack of polish, will remember to spend a bit more time figuring things out with the web build as it works a bit differently :)
Nice, It surely has potential
Pretty cool game, this is awesome! My only suggestion would be to make the light source aim in a set direction based on where the mouse last pointed (or something like that). Having the light always target the mouse's location makes it hard to control when moving around.
Edit: my bad it works great, my game size was too small so it made it hard to control. Good job!
Yeah that was something I thought of, but it was still not great with locking the light so I just kept it as is.
As for the small screen, maybe it's cause it doesn't scale to different monitor sizes?
