Thanks! I would’ve liked more levels, but I didn’t put a lot of time to the game jam and didn’t get to a point were I felt like more content was the biggest priority.

Thanks!

Yeah, I should have maybe done some playtesting with the mindset of a new player. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks!

Pygame is what I'm comfortable with and I enjoy the coding side of things. Music is also something I'm learning about, so I'm glad you felt it fit with the game! More levels is probably something I should have planned out for, but it takes a bit longer with pygame.

Very cool idea that fits with the theme, but as others have mentioned, a bit more instruction and a different input for the flashlight would make it better!

Very fun game!

I've seen a bit of confusion about the player not getting hit by the bullets, so maybe something to signal to the player that it's the crown you have to protect and the player character is immune?

Great choice on music, it scales well with the growing intensity of the game!

One of my favourite games from this Jam!

The art, music, poems and gameplay all came together and made a "simple" game with plenty of depth and variety.

As other comments have suggested I think a bit more player agency between upgrades would improve it.

Yeah that was something I thought of, but it was still not great with locking the light so I just kept it as is.

As for the small screen, maybe it's cause it doesn't scale to different monitor sizes?

Hey thanks, I'm aware of the lack of polish, will remember to spend a bit more time figuring things out with the web build as it works a bit differently :)

Fascinating game that makes perfect use of the 1-bit graphics! Great Work!

My favourite has got to be the low gravity levels, the combination of the inversion mechanic and the slower fall that's a bit more forgiving made for an interesting experience that casuals like me could still enjoy! The backround effect when the colours switch is also so cool!

Very creepy and you absolutely nailed the transition from cute and confused ghost to "what the hell is going on?!" The bits of dialogue, the dinner table all make for an interesting and captivating experience!

Very nice idea that fits the theme well!

As some others have suggested a sort of way for the player to get some spacial awareness when it's dark would be handy and maybe make it a bit more forgiving.

Although I'm not very good at platformers, so maybe it's just me struggling haha.

Hey got an error that reads: "The code execution cannot proceed because ffmpeg.ddl was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem." on both files.
