Awesome Idea! I love how going into a wall doesn't kill you, but instead let's you run around in it!

Wow!! This graphics looks so cool!!
And how did you make this beautiful graphics??!!
Game was hard but these concepts and 1 bit graphics are THE BEST!!!!!

...Really how can we make like these PERFECT 1 BIT Graphics??

Developer

Thank you!

I used WASM4, which only supports 4 colors and I only used 2 of those. So basically I have a framebuffer into which I write 0 or 1 for each pixel. The actual color on screen is determined by a palette which is updated each frame.

To create different shades I used dithering (2x2 bayer matrix). There are some good tutorials on how to implement dithering online.

Cute pixel art with a clever use of the theme of the jam for the game. You did good! Missed some sounds and music on it.

Liked this game even if I suck at platformers.

This idea has been done a few times in the jam but I really liked the way you go into a different world when you switch and your in a phantom block, I haven't seen something like that yet. My only gripe with the game is the character is way too slippery and made the platforming a bit frustrating at times. Great job though!

Developer

Yeah I couldn't tweak it to feel right, it was either too slippery or too much friction.

Thank you!

I really enjoyed my time playing this, the puzzle platforming was a little tricky but rewarding when you did it correctly!

i also really liked the colour pallet shifts!

Really enjoyed the switching between worlds aspect! The platforming was a little tough but overall really good job! I like how inventive it was.

I'd like to amend this reply now that I've beaten the game from start to finish. This game is BRILLIIIAANNNTTT, like it honestly didn't strike me just how awesome this game was on a first casual playthrough but it's honestly really insane just how creative and intuitive all of the platforming puzzles were. Every time I progressed I felt like an absolute genius, and it takes a very special game to make the player feel so satisfied and smart every step of the way

Really interesting concept but I felt lost a lot of the time, I understand that i had to swap colors to go to the end but it's difficult to understand where the end is, maybe if the camera made you see the whole level could be a winner change, good job tho.
