How did this game use the theme?
The game has no visible violence as it is mostly a "find the key" type of game, but other than the gameplay perspective, the story itself is embedded with the theme of "No Violence", only ever hinting on what he could've done.
/ SPOILER (not explicitly explained in game): Main character is a ghost and is trying help his friends move on in order for them to not suffer the same fate as he did, to which was a form of violence (self-harm, but it was never explicitly mentioned - only subtle hints), hence the theme being "No Violence".

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Please use the Demo Build 1.2 if you want to experience the game as intended! Demo Build 1 was submitted before deadline but I forgot to toggle some of the things off (especially the Ending TT). Please only use the Demo Build 1 in evaluating, but if you want to experience the game itself, use Demo Build 1.2, thank you for understanding!! <3

How did this game use the tutorial? (Did you use the radio tutorial? How?)
I didn't use the radio tutorial but I used the Interact tutorial for about 90% of the game itself, the main idea of the game revolves around that tutorial! It was really helpful, thank you!

Thank you so much! We're really glad you liked the visuals, it was what we tried hardest on! Your entry was really fun too, wish I had more friends to play it with though!

Did you used quibli for shaders ? Looks beautiful!

Rated your game :)

Thank you for trying out Loose Ends! I'm really glad you liked the art, my friend and I really spent time on making the game's overall art direction feel warm with the appropriate color selection!

Regarding your question, I used the built-in shader for UniVRM since the characters we use are created with the VRoid software! I do have Quibli and it was what we used originally, but it was tedious to set up on our character models so we reverted to the UniVRM shader instead. TT

We're really happy you liked the art! We also played your entry and it was absolutely phenomenal too! <3

Oh nice, i will check out UniVRM, not much aware of it but i will surely check it out :)

Really nice art but the gameplay can be repetitive after a while.  Nice game!

Developer

Thank you for trying out Loose Ends! Really glad you liked the art! We're visual artists and just beginning with game development, so we mostly focused on the visual aspect since it is what we were good at already. We originally wanted to add puzzles but we (wholly) underestimated how long it takes to implement a lot of the original features we intended XD so we weren't able to implement a bunch of the puzzles TT hence, the repetitiveness but thank you so much for the feedback, really appreciate it!

Damn, I really liked this game. Beatiful artstyle and very life is strange-ish. I played twice cause i got stuck in the room (when you have to follow the sound and locks the door, I was inside xD). Good job! -Tom, from LTP

Developer

Thank you so much for playing Loose Ends! The primary inspiration for the game was definitely life is strange so I'm really glad it was evident! Really sorry for that issue XD I already fixed it on a separate build outside of the jam entry build I submitted, so thank you so much for letting me know!
