as the title says, are we allowed to work with someone we know on the game, or is it only for solo development
You can certainly work in teams
From the rules:
"A team can consist of any number of members"
let's join together and make one game and all win.

i should have worded that better, what i meant was, then we would have had to split the money, i already have a teammate to work with, and we plan to use the money to further the development of the game we are working on.
