It would be nice arcade for phones!

Developer

Thanks! I did consider making this compatible with mobile devices

Visuals look really nice and cohesive. Audio is good too! The controls definitely feel a bit jank, but if you had a third button for a shoot it wouldn't work for the 2 button jam so I think it was a unique idea to stay within the 2 button restriction!

Also it's really fun to spam left/right to rapid fire :)

Developer

Thanks! I feel that one of the funs in this game is dealing with that jank, at least for me personally. I'm glad that you think it's fun either way and enjoy the art!

Absolutely! It's the fun retro kind of jank that you would find at arcade machines for example and I think there's a certain amount of charm to that!

title image and gameover screen bear looks like a strange art from devian art but the game is good

Also I think that making shooting by pressing 2 buttons it's not a good idea cuz  you can hit in something

i agree

Developer

Thanks! That's exactly what I was going for with the artwork for my own amusement. Regarding the shooting mechanic, I'm hearing mixed opinions. I guess it's love it or hate it

Also, what's the theme is using here or there not theme from jam themes?

The character you're playing as is a bear who is about to go into hibernation which I think of as a really long sleep. Your comment made me realize I never really made that evident in the game itself. Silly me. I planned to write the context on the game page from the start so I guess writing it in the game too didn't cross my mind.

I love the old school screen feel; having flashback to my gameboy when i was a kid ;)

Developer

Thanks! After trying different visual effects I knew this retro one was the way to go
