Love the visual and audio effects. The humour is a great hook, and one of my favourite parts of the game. A suggestion I would offer is to change the eating button from enter key to space key, or allow both inputs(?) I'm using WASD and it is easier to use the same hand to tap spacebar.
Thank you! Unfortunately it doesn't seem like I can change the size of the game, only the viewport on the settings, but I might try and compile another HTML version that's twice the resolution. The desktop version is completely resizable though.
wow, this is so cool. I love the color palette and the graphics! <3
I haven’t figured out how the speed works. Can i control the speed of the lion? Or does it get faster the more time has passed? Sometimes i think i get faster when running diagonal, but i am still not sure about that.
Thank you! The lion gets faster the more time passes as well as the buffalo, so you have to chase them for a while before you're up to speed enough to catch them. It will slow down if you're not holding the A/D keys or L/R arrow keys, so that may be it.

Thank you kindly! I'll definitely see if I can get both inputs working.
Wow so much effort went into the intro…. The game is really cool and polished….
The web build’s resolution is a bit too small to play comfortably though ;) Maybe you could increase the size in the itch.io game settings?

Okay. Thanks for clarifying. I tried it again and I see it now.
