Unfortunately it is not possible. You have to be in a team to participate.
If you don't know anyone, we will help you find other people to work with you. I don't know what your skill set is but I assume that you know a bit about programming if you want to do it alone. I can tell you that there will be plenty of artists (we are primarily an art school) who will be thrilled to work with someone like you.
We have 2 channels on our Discord server (#seeking-team and #team-looking-for-member) that are here to facilitate team building and we have community managers who will do their best to help also.
Yes, I am a programmer, but also a game professor and producer. I am happy to know that you are in an art school; I will be more than happy to work together with artists in your institute.
