This would lead to some interesting (though dark) conversations for sure. I was actually discussing sci-fi shows that had immortals in it with someone a few days ago. How most of the immortals are sad and bored and that I couldn't imagine watching so much time pass that time loses value and ceases to be precious. Watching everything but yourself waste away, knowing you never will. On the other side of that, if an immortal was a "be the change you want to see in the world" type of person people would inevitably form a cult around them. What's an immortal to do when they don't want to be viewed as a God among mortals... ~Angel
One of the reasons I decided the player should choose how many dice they roll is to provide a little space for them to decide whether their character actually wants to succeed or not. I think it'd facilitate a little more depth for those kinds of discussions, y'know?
