Very interesting concept, the game is very atmospheric and the audio work on this game sounds amazing. But I wasn't able to make the combat work, I tried holding and releasing W key like was instructed but did not seen to work.
Which song(s) did you choose for the theme and how did you incorporate it/them?
Lights Out as a battle theme, and Two Buttons as an exploration theme. The game is themed around the idea of "lights out", The early parts of the game use some silence to allow the in-game audio to receive some emphasis and to help set the mood.
Which parts of the game did you create BEFORE the jam STARTED?
None.
Which parts of the game did you NOT create?
All sound effects and the fonts.

Very nice. A really cool and different experience. Game got a bit buggy at the combat and I just kept getting hit over and over. Audio production is really good.
A really different experience, good job!
Its a cool concept but i had trouble understanding what was going on i did not know what to do if i was in a corner and the combat realy confused me. Great audio though
just to be clear i am not a judge i am just someone playing and rating every jam game acoording to my oppinion

Thank you very much! I appreciate the feedback, and I definitely agree about the combat; I had intentions to tighten it up as well as displaying in-game controls, but unfortunately the bugfixing took longer than intended. I'll see what I can get done though.
I like the idea of navigating through audio and text, but I couldn't understand what was going on during the combat. Liked the audio quality!
Thank you very much! Haha, originally my idea was to voice act all the dialogue myself, but it took so long to get the other stuff working right that I ended up just leaving it as text for now.
I definitely need to tighten up the combat though. Unfortunately I just ran out of time! The combat as it stands is pretty much just a happy accident that I threw together very quickly. I absolutely intended to change it before the deadline, but then sadly a bunch of other stuff took longer than intended.
I'm glad to hear you liked the audio quality though! It's always satisfying to get just the right audio.
