Pretty nice and we'll designed game
Check out mine as well
The game is not quite easy in gameplay, but it is interesting, the soundtrack is good, the visual style is one of the best, I just didn’t like the opening scenes, they don’t tell much and it’s not very clear, I think we need to add much clearer explanations
Thanks for the feedback! I agree with you on both points. The levels should have had more play testing to insure a lower difficulty. On the story bit, I really wanted a story, but I had no time to implement one, so what you got was the half-baked representation of the story I wanted created under moderate sleep deprivation. If/when I come back to revamp this game, that intro story will be the first thing I end up fleshing out.
I think this game belongs to one of the most creative games for jams. The idea of tape recording is just genius and I can imagine how difficult it can be for the programming part. The art of this game is also shockingly good! Coherent designs and attention to the very details show huge effort and passion poured into this game. Especially when I noticed that every tape is designed according with reference to famous art pieces; I can imagine the rich story behind the three frogs!
Thank you so much for the comment! Programming that recorder and the art were all I worked on for the first 7 days of the jam, so I’m really glad it went noticed!
I adore the gameplay and graphics and appreciate the linux port.
Thanks so much for the feedback! Glad someone else appreciates all the games that go that extra inch for linux support!
