Nice! The level design was really neat. I liked that I didn't have to keep fighting the bee keepers and exploration felt nice! Good work

thanks for kind words!  if the beekeeper was permanently stunned i think that was a mistake i didnt while making last minute changes lol

Nice one! Loved that the enemies were creepy bee keepers. The buzzing also lends itself to a horror setting nicely although I had never associated bees with horror before. Very fun little game!

thanks! check out the movie candyman if you want a scary movie with bees

Loved the environment! The textures inside the building were awesome! I didn't have a problem seeing anything, I thought the brightness was good. The look and feel of the game was great, but the music was a little jarring, with changes in volume and sudden starts and stops that felt more glitchy than intentional. Had a really fun time with it! Great job!

thanks!  i wanted to showcase the song but put it in the scene like 20 min before submitting lol.

I had a pretty good time playing this. I would've liked maybe a flashlight or maybe just a bit brighter setting since I had a hard time seeing it. I know it's meant to be a horror game but even then I can't really be scared if I can't see what I'm scared of. The graphics felt right to me, and the gameplay was mostly perfect. I did however find a bug with the swarm person next to the beehive goal. When I went around the room and jumped in the back window, he was running into a corner repeatedly. It took me a few minutes to get my mouse to work to get a screenshot of it, and even in that time he didn't recognize that I was in the room. Overall I had fun, but there were a few key things that I thought should be implemented.

thanks for playing! the window thing was supposed to be a secret but ran out of time to hide it in any way

That was interesting. A bit too dark for me to see anything, but I like the idea of the bees surrounding the hooded guy and your only weapon being the smoke. I'm not sure if that was intentional, but I managed to stun him for a long while unleashing half of my fuel right into his face.

Developer

thank you for playing!  i think that may be the result of last minute changes i made to the animation controller :...C  i noticed it in the rook rules stream as well.  its only supposed to stay stunned for 1 animation cycle

Fun game, nice graphics and music, would have been nice if there were sound effects for the men etc, but overall great job!

Developer(+1)

thank you!  what if instead of men they were a swarm of bees in the shape of men??

I really loved the level design, and I think the mechanic of shooting the keepers with the gas is really cool. Managed to win by hopping out a window onto the ledge and scaling my way into the room with the queen. Music was a little loud, and the AI in the queen room just kind of Blair Witched in the corner while I stoke the queen, but I had fun!

Developer

lol that was going to be a secret path, i never got around to hiding it.  thank you for playing!
