Thanks! I was going for a mix of 90's hip hop and Spyro/Ratchet and Clank for the music. Not my usual thing, but super fun to make 😅

Very fun! The thumbnail pic is a little misleading, I thought this game was gonna be super scary! I'm glad it wasn't. I really liked the journal aspect, it really upped the feeling of mystery in the game. It was a very good idea! I also got caught, and respawned in a test scene, just a minor bug. good job!
Great game! Funny enough, the music that stuck out to me the most was the menu music (in a good way). I thought the gameplay music was good, and then I heard that the sound of the bee hovering was in tune with the music, and I LOVED that, intentional or not! I would love to hear more of that (the checkpoint sound matching the music harmonically, or adding pitch to the sounds of the enemies). Good job!
Super fun game! I really enjoyed playing it with a controller. Loved the camera angles. One of the games in this jam where I died a bunch, but didn't stop playing! The music and sounds definitely need some mixing/balancing and maybe some more variety, but I like that there was a constant drum keeping the beat and driving the game forward. Overall, an enjoyable game that feels good to play! Well done!
Great job! I loved the environment! You can add some wonderful music and sound there (some willy wonka/disney inspired sounds could really make this game shine!) I also highly recommend using a controller for this game, it plays very well. Also, good work on the moving platforms! We tried to add those in our game, but didn't have enough time to make them work properly :p Well done!
Nice job!! I really enjoyed the assassination aspect, and I loved that you gave those cones showing line of sight! Getting the queen at the end was super satisfying! Obviously would have liked some sound/music, and being able to rotate the camera would be nice. However the game looked great and felt good to play! Good work!
Loved the environment! The textures inside the building were awesome! I didn't have a problem seeing anything, I thought the brightness was good. The look and feel of the game was great, but the music was a little jarring, with changes in volume and sudden starts and stops that felt more glitchy than intentional. Had a really fun time with it! Great job!
This was insanely fun! definitely getting some Baba is You vibes, but it has it's own flavor and originality.
I also appreciated the minimalist art. It worked well for this game.
The music drove me a little crazy. With a puzzle game like this, something more serene or ambient would have worked better. The 8-bit sounds were too harsh in my opinion
Great idea and definitely worth continuing!
The art in this game is astounding! Best I've personally seen in this game jam so far.
I loved the musical aesthetic that you were going for, but but I think it could have been expanded on.
Also very satisfying to play. Slightly hard to manage connecting lines while scrolling, but that could be an easy work around.
Very visually pleasing!
Great job! I loved the art and animation (that is an insane amount to do in 48 hours).
The music was fun and appropriate. I enjoyed the sound effects a little more though (having only 8-bit music felt a little overplayed after my 20th death. good pace though!)
I definitely sucked at it for a while, but as with most timing games, it got easier as I got used to it.
Overall, super fun and visually impressive game!
Loved the core mechanic and level design! This seems like a game you could definitely keep working on and produce on a larger scale!
I enjoyed the minimalist feeling of the art, but the music did not seem like it fit the aesthetic that you were going for. The game could use more detail both audibly and visually.
Overall, great idea and use of the theme!
Nice job!
What stood out the most was the core mechanic and the level design. It was definitely enjoyable and I had a good time working through the puzzles.
I think the audio (both music and sound effects) were little too repetitive and biting (something that sounded softer and had more variety would work very well for a relaxing puzzle game like this)
My thoughts on the art are the same as the audio. Maybe more variety and detail (I definitely get the minimalist thing you were going for, but the simpler the game, the more involved the surrounding elements tend to be).
Good job on an enjoyable game!
Loved the music and how it was integrated into the game (how it changed near enemies). I'm also a sucker for 80's synths.
I also really enjoyed the deflecting and time slowing mechanics.
However, the hoverboard could have used some better movement mechanics (felt a little clunky), and the bird was hard to use (didn't feel like a core element of the game).
The audio and visuals were exceptional. Good job making this!
