Very good 90s artstyle, reminded me of a cross between Wild 9, Reboot, and Syphon Filter. The game is addicting, but I'm not very good at it. The most I collected was 4. It was fun escaping the shooters after they saw me.

Thanks! I loved Syphon Filter back in the day! I do need to work on the difficulty curve. Would you believe I was worried it was too easy? Too much playtesting my own game will do that!

This game is great! The gameplay is simple, challenging and addictive. The music and atmosphere are very well done and very 90s. Even the camera angle reminds me of those old ps1 games.

I actually don't have very many major complaints. I will say, I still haven't beat the game after quite a few attempts, but at the same time the level of challenge is pretty fun in my opinion. The player character's sliding animation is nice, but the running animation feels a bit too "floaty",  if that makes sense.

Looking at the previous game, this has made many improvements, but there are a couple things from the old one that I think would be good in this game.

First of all, having an alert sound when enemies spot you to give the player an extra bit of feedback so they always understand what's happening.

Second, I think it would be really nice if you could use the "hide against wall" ability in this game, mainly because it gives you a better camera angle to see around corners. There were a couple areas where I couldn't get a good view of a soldier without giving away my position, and in this game being able to watch soldiers and track their movements is important.

Overall,  great entry! Thanks for submitting!

Thanks! I'm glad you had fun and enjoyed the game.

I do want to include a better version of the hide against wall mechanic, but was unsure how to implement it while sticking to the faster paced gameplay.

I agree that an alert sound or visual indication to comunicate the enemies state is definitely needed as well.

Thanks for the detailed and helpful feedback, its always appreciated.

I'd say it's definitely an improvement. The art style is a lot more cohesive and interesting. I certainly find it more appealing than before.

The gameplay is better, but there are still issues that are a little annoying: You can end up sliding just a bit too early and get stuck in the middle of the gaps you're meant to slide through. You can be seen by enemies who aren't even on screen in some areas and get shot at before you even know what's going on.

On the plus side: The enemy placement was well thought out and the sliding mechanic is very fun. Controls are very responsive, and the camera was much better than before. Being able to escape makes this much more engaging and escaping isn't too difficult but also not too easy. I was definitely craving more levels.

Thanks! I really appreciate the detailed feedback.

I'm pretty sure I know the enemy that shot you from off screen haha, I'm not very happy with a couple of the placements, particularly when moving south.

I'm glad you enjoyed playing! More levels are definitely on the way ;)

This was so much fun!

I thought it was really interesting to see the direction you took vs the prejam version - it's entirely different in terms of feel with the focus more on speed and escapes than the pure stealth of the original. I think it's the right direction to go, as the new version feels much more engaging to me. Also impressed by the technical and visual improvements: the camera feels significantly better in the new version, and the visual style feels much stronger and more refined.

Gameplay is tight and focussed, with a great run and slide mechanic that's really nicely integrated with the level design. Placement of enemies is great, and pushed me into many risky maneuvres and very close escapes.

Thanks! I'm so glad you liked it! These were all the exact elements I was hoping to improve on from the original. I'm glad it paid off! I found people tended to give up as soon as they were seen in the original version, so wanted to up the pace and make escaping a fun challenge in itself.

Thanks for playing :)

This is a really nice top view game!! I really like the theme of this game!! Please check out mine!!
