Really nice tentacles! I also liked your intro, great job showing the story and plot. I was unable to play the game, perhaps due to the same issues others have posted, as looking around would accelerate then pause, even looking at the lines to grapple, which I couldn't figure out what to do after, was very difficult. Great look though!
Hi, thanks for giving the game a try. It has had some updates since you last played it if you'd like to have another go at it! There is now a way to adjust mouse sensitivity, which should help with the difficulty from the controls. Thanks!
The intro cutscene was SUPER impressive. I'm curious how you made that in unity.
I'm sorry to say it, but the first-person controller is extremely difficult to control, to the point where the game is unplayable for me. I had a really hard time just getting the character to look in the right direction. The sensitivity is way high and the acceleration is very uncomfortable. When I moved my mouse, it kept overshooting and looking way past where I intended to look. I couldn't get past the very first area.
This game looks really cool and the visuals looked very impressive. I really want to enjoy this game but I can't control the character.
I would suggest removing the look acceleration entirely and just using raw mouse input. This might be a lot to ask, but since the submission deadline was extended, if you re-published the game and fixed the mouse look, I would love to give it a full playthrough. I like stealth, and this game looks like my type of game. Please reply if you fix the mouse look and I'll come back and play!
I appreciate the review and input. I was not aware the game jam got extended! Haha I will see about trying to make some revisions soon, when I get it done I could send you a notification. Thanks for playing!
Oh and as for how I made the Intro, I actually used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit that clip then I imported it into unity and used Unity's video player and rendered the video through a canvas/Image Texture. My first time trying something like that,b ut it turned out to be easier than i thought!
Hi Jadon, Since you've last played the game it has been updated, if you'd like to have another go at it! A mouse sensitivity option has been added and should help give better control now. Thanks!
