Impressive for 4 hours work. At first I though I could always win because I play before Penny, until it reached a naked corner and ... uh, check mate me! Power ups for player and penny and rotating the screen could be further improvements.
Good job!

Give a brief breakdown of how you spent the four hours (i.e. Saturday 10-11am Coded the core mechanic)
Friday 12-12:30 got artwork loaded; Friday 4:30-5:30 got sprite sorting and fence dropping; Sat 6-7:30 Penny movement and AI; Sat 12:30-1 final polish

Neat little puzzle game, well done :D I did have a small issue where the player spawned inside the ground and I won the level immediately, but other than that it worked like a charm - impressive for 4 hours :)
Yes, Penny's z-sorting does not get reset right away at the start of a new level, so she will often be invisible (though still always in the center) until you place a fence. I saw this just before the deadline and didn't have time to fix it. And the positioning of trees is random, so I guess you could insta-win... I hadn't thought of that!
Thanks for playing!
Ooh I like it! Not much else to say, it's a very neat small puzzle game! Maybe make the game have more challenges but with 4 hours development time, this is good! Well done! :D
