- Very poignant and atmospheric small experience, I enjoyed my time. Would have liked the area to be a big bigger so I didnt hit invisible walls prior to the experience resolving. Being able to jump whilst still dead was a bit of a funny moment. Great job :)
What do you like about your game?
I loved experimenting with the snow deformation shader, and the particle effects for the snowflakes. Also modeling, rigging, and animating a full character was a fun challenge.

Nice, I did not expect this to develop further than walking around, but then it manages to achieve much with little.
On the technical side, I didn't feel much excitement about the snow and snowflakes, but the character is great. Pity you can't take a good look due to the face always turning the other way.
I'm glad you pointed this out. Because I very much feel the same way - I spent a rather large amount of effort on the head and eye-look animations, and struggled to think of a way to let the player get to know the character's face.
I have some ideas for this, but opted against it for fear of missing the deadline.
Also, I get where you're coming from in terms of the snow itself - I think I had more fun solving the technical challenges of "How do I make this work" rather than incorporating the snow in some meaningful way (outside of the obvious).

Cool man, just a whole vibe. Was expecting to get eaten or something from the game jam theme but nothing happened.
I appreciated the snow whirling around though.
I had a bunch of fun tweaking the snow particles to get that turbulence - I'm glad you liked it the result!
