I liked the mechanic, a lot of these chromab puzzles have been very inventive. I enjoy this particular shade that adds platforming. I find the platforming to be pretty engaging although you are mostly just jumping between the extremes of mouse movement. I had fun. As others have mentioned a bit of telegraphing at the front about the states of blue and red platforms would be nice

I also checked out the updated mechanic with the rotation, that was neat and a cool way to extend the platforming where you arent just putting your mouse to endmembers.

congrats on the release!

thank you!

one of the things i regret not doing is an incentive to go back to the start and go the other way. did you end up going to the green cave?

Amazing game, the thing about blue being intangible confused me because you can still slide off those, still good

The effect looks nice. I was wondering in the first section what the point of using the aberration mechanics was because they were not required. Maybe it should be introduced earlier, as it's the main theme of the game. I didn't really understand how the collisions worked with the red and blue platforms. I figured out you can stand on the red platforms but not on the blue, so why can I still collide with the edge of the blue platforms? And sometimes I just went through red platforms without knowing how.

Otherwise, the gameplay is good. Movements and wall jumps feel nice to use, so well done :)

yeah its kinda buggy since i rewrote the code so many times and the final collision code was written like 2 days before the deadline. but otherwise blue only being collidable from the edges is a puzzle mechanic, so that you have to use colors wisely ;)

Movement is nice, changing aberration with mouse is freaky and cool! Overall liked it.

The gameplay and platforming is tight. At first i wasn't sure it implemented the theme and then i moved the mouse! Nice abberation effect.

Great game - nice fluid movement on the character and I enjoyed playing it.

Could do with more sound and I wasn't sure if the aberration effect was gameplay related, or just a nice aesthetic?

Good job!

Developer

the character was the first big thing i spent ages on. i'm so so glad it payed off lol

the sound is the part i'm the saddest about because i literally make games to make music for them but i couldn't do it for this one :'(
i even had sound effects ready but i had too little time to implement the sound

but the aberration is definitely a gameplay mechanic ;)
